The effect of CIS BIPV as a shading device on building life cycle energy performance

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effect CIS Building Integrated Photovoltaic as a shading device on building energy performance and PV life cycle. A multi-faceted BIPV evaluation approach created. Energy evaluated in two climate regions, three scenarios for transparency ratios an office building. case indicated that when was used, mild climates there 24.82–41.05%, hot climates, 35.21–56.18% net consumption decreased. PVs can produce 6.5–9.1 times amount consumed during manufacturing over usage period. Finally, it shown technology contributes sustainable architecture by reducing integrated design difficulties front BIPV.
